The Birthday Babes

The Hat Girls LOVE a good birthday celebration!  Wow...they know how to do it right!  Read on to hear about the most recent birthday celebrations for these two girls and their custom birthday hats went.

  

Amanda's birthday is the day after Christmas.  Because of this, she tends to celebrate BIG so her day is not overshadowed.  Being a wine lover, Amanda likes to spend her birthday at the wineries.  Amanda and company have done limo busses to the wineries in the past and had a blast.  This past year, she invited her closest friends to come and enjoy the wineries and lunch in Temecula to celebrate her spin around the sun.

The crew visited South Coast Winery in Temecula, California where everyone had a delicious lunch and enjoyed some fantastic wine while catching up with friends.  We enjoyed a tour through the property in the cutest "extra long" golf cart!  

After lunch, we headed to Wiens winery for a private tasting in an outdoor garden.  Wiens has a great outdoor space and we had the best time taking photos, trying some new wine, and spending some more time catching up.

That night, some of the girls went out into Temecula.  We ate dinner at one of our favorite local restaurants, Mexico Cafe, and then headed to Old Town Temecula.  If you have not been to Old Town, definitely go visit!  The girls had drinks at 1909 which is a restaurant/bar that is decorated from floor to ceiling for Christmas every year and even has a special themed menu of drinks.  The vibes were merry and the girls had the best time celebrating with Amanda.

After dinner, a few of the girls stayed in one of the large villas on the South Coast Winery Property.  It was so luxurious with two bedrooms and all the amenities the girls could want.  No birthday is complete if you don't end the evening laughing and reminiscing with your best friends!  Amanda's birthdays are always days that we remember!

Lynn is a big fan of the "birthday month" and often finds a way to celebrate for a few weeks leading up to her birthday and a few weeks after her birthday.  Her birthday celebrations actually began in February this year even though her actual birthday is not until March.  The "cheers" started in Mexico with a trip to Valle de Guadalupe and Ensenda.  

Next up was a girls night with some amazing ladies in downtown San Diego.  All the gals enjoyed a delicious dinner at Huntress.  Each course was even better than the first!  It was a rainy day but it didn't put a damper on the fun these girls had after dinner.  Everyone made their way to Coinop which is an adult arcade in the Gaslamp District and then finished the night at the Oxford Social Club.  The laughter and smiles were endless!

The night before her birthday, Lynn was treated to MJ the Musical at the Civic Theater in Downtown San Diego.  What a phenomenal show!  There was laughter, tears, dancing, and singing to make the night oh so memorable.  Then, friends helped her finish the evening off at Rustic Root.  

On the day of her actual birthday, Lynn and Amanda and some of their best friends started the evening off at the Rooftop Bar at the Mission Pacific Hotel.  Sunsets, cocktails, a DJ, and good friends was just what the birthday girl wanted!  The crew then visited some more local places in downtown Oceanside to enjoy dinner and some more fun before the day ended.

As you can see, these girls really know how to do it big for their birthdays.  With a crew of amazing friends and the best families the girls could ever ask for, the memories made each year fill their hearts with joy.  We can't wait to spend a lifetime more of birthdays together wearing our hats, smiling big for the camera, and counting our blessings instead of our candles with the cutest trucker hats!
